“Nine? Fucking nine?” Axel laughed loudly, a grin spreading across my face.

He was cool to hang out with, and he was exactly like I remembered him.

We’d been sitting there talking for hours, and I was glad to see the other Soldiers mingling with my guys.

The more we talked, the more memories surfaced, and it suddenly felt like he’d never left.

“Yeah, and they’re the best,” I explained, a warm, fuzzy sensation hitting me in the chest.

We glanced over to see Hunter getting between Skeeter and Marco as they started shoving each other, and Axel raised an eyebrow as Hunter snapped at them to grow up.

“So, they aren’t all dating each other as well, I take it?” He asked dryly, and I had to bite back a laugh as Skeeter told Hunter to fuck off.

Slash stalked over and yanked Skeeter back by the jacket, threatening to put a bullet in his foot if he didn’t behave, and that caused more bickering from all of them.

“No. Lukas and Jensen are dating, but the rest of the guys just want to kill each other most of the time. There’s never a dull moment, that’s for sure,” I chuckled, turning my attention back to my uncle.

“And how do they treat you?” He asked, his eyes lingering on the scaring on my shoulder, my eyes narrowing on him in defense.

“They treat me perfectly. Skeet has a knife kink, but he hasn’t been into it much since the others got involved. They hate it, and it’s really not worth the argument sometimes,” I answered, not liking his judgemental eyes.

“You let him cut you up because it gets him off?” He growled with disgust, his lip lifting into a snarl.

He looked ready to beat the crap out of Skeeter, so I responded quickly to stop the chance of a fist fight breaking out.

“No, I let him do little cuts here and there because we both get off on it. They’d never do anything unless I wanted them to, and they’d never do anything to me unless I enjoyed it too. I’m done talking about this, it’s really not your business,” I muttered, intending on walking off, but he put a hand out to stop me.

“I didn’t mean to offend you; I just don’t understand how anyone could like that. You used to scrape your knee and cry for hours, so sorry for questioning it. Who are Lukas and Jensen?” He asked calmly, the anger fading from his eyes at knowing I was okay and not being forced into weird torture sex.

I smiled softly, wishing the others were there to meet him.

He’d love them, and I knew they would all get along with him.

“Lukas and Jensen go to school with me. You’ve never met him, but Lukas was my best friend when we were younger. It was around the time you left, and we were inseparable for years. Caden and Tyler are their best friends, and the last two members of my merry band,” I joked, causing him to chuckle as he glanced at me with amusement.
